What is dog boarding?

Dog boarding is a service provided by facilities where dogs can stay overnight or for an extended period of time when their owners are away. B&G is a cage free, premium board facility. It's like a hotel for dogs.

What does Your dog boarding facility offer?

We provide individual kennels for dogs to sleep in, regular feeding schedules, exercise areas and walks, and sometimes additional services like grooming.

What should I pack for my dog when boarding?

Pack your dog's food, and any medications they need. Ensure you send enough food for your dogs stay. Please leave any of their favorite toys or bedding at home. This includes any bowls or feeders. Please provide any additional instructions for the team regarding their care.

How do I bring my dogs medication?

We require that you bring each medication in their original bottle with the instructions for the prescribing vet. Please only bring enough medication for the stay. This is in accordance with Texas state law.

How ofteN will my dog go outside?

Each kennel has a built in run so the dogs can go outside freely on nice days. In addition, we let the dogs out 4 times a day to get some exercise and go potty.

Will my dog be socialized with other dogs?

We provide individual playtime or walks. This allows your dog the freedom to get some exercise and relieve themselves. Our team makes sure that all dogs get extra care and love.

Do you offer extra perks that we can add?

In addition to the four outings, you can add additional services for some additional one-on-one time with our amazing staff. We offer many pet perks including individual playtime, cuddle times, and tuck in service.

How will i keep up with dogs stay?

We will randomly text you pictures and updates during your pups stay. We will also post pictures to our Facebook page.

Can my pet be Groomed during their stay?

B&G Boarding has teamed up with a local mobile groomer to meet your pups spa needs. Our groomer’s schedule fills up quickly so remember to add the service when you book your reservation. We recommend having the dog groomed the day they are going home.

What Vaccines are Required?

All dogs must be vaccinated for Rabies, Distemper/Parvo, and Bordetella. Dogs should have a negative fecal test and be on heartworm and flea prevention medication. We also recommend that your dog receive an influenza vaccine.

cAN I BOARD MY PUPPY?

We love to board puppies however our main priority to keep all of our dogs healthy. We do not board dogs under 4 months old, and only if they have had all 3 series of vaccines - including parvo.

What Happens if my dog comes into heat?

We will remove your dog from the general population, and you will be asked to come pickup your dog.

I am running late to pick up my dog. What do I do?

We will work with you to accommodate all parties schedules. This may mean your furry friend spends another night being pampered!

CAN YOU TRAIN MY DOG?

We'd love to say yes, but alas, we're not the dog whisperers you're looking for. Our kennel is all about providing your furry friend with a safe, secure, and super cozy home away from home.
